This view from the east side of the garden shows the landsape after harvesting squash, melons, corn and pie pumpkins. I have broadcast a cover crop mixture of cereal rye, rye grass, triticale and Austrian field pies. This is an irrestible attraction for the crow population, which sends a scout often to see what’s there for them. There are still tomatoes and peppers in the hoophouse and grapes in the vineyard.
