This photos shows the winter cover crop: winter rye grass and crimson clover. Some weeds, of course, and some self-seeded tillage radish from a previous year’s winter cover crop. I allowed a “few” plants to go to seed on one edge of this garden and they created a significant stand on the east side. We began the year with a new truck, a Ford F150 pickup - the 18-year old Ranger died.
