I had some help from a friend and then I spent several hours with a lawn mower. Under overcast skies - getting to be standard for August - and with the doors of the hoop house closed to retain heat, I mowed the garden area to clear the debris of the cover crop - and weeds. With a little bit of rain, the chaff will decompose into the soil to feed the micro-organisms that create soil health.
